Join the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta for ‘Light’ on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at MTSU School of Music’s Hinton Hall, featuring a light show with live orchestra alongside the rarely performed Church Windows by Ottorino Respighi. Lighting will be designed and provided by local company Jag Warner Productions. This concert will also feature the world premieres of the three winning compositions from our 2024 Composition Competition. Admission is free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $10. This concert is sponsored in part by the Rutherford County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Middle Tennessee Electric.

Get your hard hats on and gear up for some big-time fun with some oversized toys! A special construction site will be ready for exploration. Kids can climb on excavators, a bulldozer and lots of other farm and construction equipment. Plus, fun activity centers to practice skills of trade, life size Jenga games and giant Lincoln log building sets. All the farm’s standard attractions are also included. Participation is FREE with paid admission. Closed-toe shoes REQUIRED for participation.

Lucky Ladd Farms is Tennessee’s largest petting farm and fun park conveniently located halfway between Murfreesboro and Franklin, just minutes off I840. This award-winning 60-acre venue offers over 50+ inventive attractions that appeal to all ages, acres of playgrounds, petting zoo, pony rides, huge mega slides, Cedar Glade nature trails, wagon rides, splash pad, barrel train rides, educational exhibits and more to fill your day with good old-fashioned fun. Farm market, concessions, coffee barn, and ice cream on-site.
