MTSU MURPHY CENTER

Murphy Center is home to annual events including the University’s Commencement ceremonies held each August, December, and May, University Convocation each August, TSSAA Girls and Boys Basketball Championships. In the past, the complex has hosted concerts from Elvis Presley, KISS, The Judds, Garth Brooks, U2, Diana Ross, to Luther Vandross. The Indoor Track facility is located on the upper level of the Murphy Center, and has been host to numerous track meets, and has been host to the Sun Belt Indoor Track Championships every even year since 2002. The arena seats 10,000 visitors.
