The Murfreesboro Greenway System consists of 15 miles of trails, bridges, and boardwalks for enjoying Murfreesboro’s beautiful natural setting. Sixteen trailheads along the seven greenway sections provide access for hiking, walking, running, wading, bicycling, skating, nature photography, picnicking, birdwatching, fishing, and many other outdoor activities for individuals of all abilities. Three small watercraft launch points – two on the West Fork Stones River and one on the East Fork Stones River – provide access to the Stones River for paddlers, and two bark parks allow off-leash exercise for your canine pals.
