MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – March 10, 2020— The 2020 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) State Basketball Championships will take place this week at Murphy Center on the Middle Tennessee State University campus. The TSSAA High School Basketball Championships have been held in Murfreesboro since 1973.
The 2020 action gets underway on Wednesday, March 11th with the first round of the Girls’ tournament and championship games will be played Saturday, March 14th. The boys will take to the court on March 18th and play for the championship titles on Saturday the 21st.
Admission is $10.00 per day on Wednesday-Friday, Championship Saturday admission will be $12.00. Parking is available at the Greenland Drive lot for $5.00 per day. Over the two week tournament, more than 70,000 tickets are sold to games resulting in an estimated $3 million economic impact on Rutherford County.
