2016 Southern Equine Expo Returns to Murfreesboro

The 2016 Southern Equine Expo presented by Meridian Equine Educational Center returns to the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tennessee Feb. 26-28, 2016 for the fourth consecutive year.  Dedicated to every horseman, the Southern Equine Expo provide a weekend full of clinics, competitions, educational presentations and shopping from over 60 vendors.

Featuring clinicians:  America's Cowboy, Ken McNabb;  World Champion Western Dressage trainer Lynn Palm; AQHA Professional Horsewoman of the Year, Stephanie Lynn; gaited horse trainers Larry Whitesell and Jennifer Baum; legendary hunter-jumper rider and instructor Sandra Vaughn; Barrel racing world record holder, Nicole Aichele; and true natural horsemen Sam Powell, the Southern Expo remains committed to providing a quality learning environment for all horsemen.

Three professional trainers take untrained colts through their first rides over the course of the weekend during the Colt Starting Competition Challenge. In store this year are a 3D Barrel Race with $500 added and a Versatility Pleasure & Trail Competition, and an ACTHA Obstacle Challenge at this year's Expo. These exciting activities are sure to entertain and educate horse enthusiasts of all ages.
