There are two ways you can experience the 1st Annual Cedar Glade Brews Beer Cheese Competition on Saturday, November 4! Whether you want to compete with your own beer cheese or sample all the entries and vote in each category is up to you. Here’s how it will work:
BEER CHEESE ENTRIES: For $15.00 per entry, you will receive two 16 oz. cans of the CGB draft beer of your choice (IPA, Berliner, Toasted Pecan Porter, Stout, NEIPA, Lager, or Pale Ale). One can is for you to create and perfect your recipe – the second can is for your official entry. Entry categories include Cheese Dip (warm), Cheese Spread (cold), and Home-Made Cheese (block). Each category will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, along with one award for Best of Show/Crowd Favorite. Individuals/teams may submit one entry in as many categories as they want. Sampling begins at 2 p.m.
Register your entries between 9/12/23 and 10/13/23. You may pick up your cans of beer (together or at separate times) during regular business hours at CGB taproom any time after registering.
SAMPLING: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY Show up to Cedar Glade Brews taproom on Saturday, November 4 and sample all the Beer Cheese you want – free of charge beginning at 2 p.m.! Each patron will receive one ticket to cast their vote in each category. The Best of Show/Crowd Favorite award will go to the highest vote count of all three categories. All votes must be cast no later than 4 p.m.
Cedar Glade Brews will provide all supplies needed to serve samples as well as pretzels for Cheese Dip and crackers for Cheese Spread and Homemade Cheese.
