Brass Horn Coffee Roasters

Downtown Murfreesboro’s center for crafted coffee is grounded in a passion for people and positive culture. Responsibly sourced beans are masterfully roasted onsite and the intriguing notes tell the difference. Even a simple pour over is deeply satisfying, while adventurous tasters can choose from seasonal creations like the Madame Blueberry latte—espresso and blueberry cream—or their Matcha recipes. Don’t forget to snap a pic of the gorgeous barista art.

Carpe Café

The Smyrna staple is known for its bright, colorful interior as well as hearty breakfast and lunch menus (try the homemade Quiché or toasty ham and cheese sandwich) and artfully poured hot drinks made from beans roasted in Coffee County. Guests can settle in for work or meetings at the creatively painted tables with a backdrop of local art pieces on the walls.

Open Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:30pm, Friday 7:30am-10pm, Saturday 10am-8pm. 115 Front St. Smyrna ☎ 615-984-4040. Carpe-café.com.

Catfeine Café

Though more cat than café, Catfeine is still a delightful destination for a unique outing and cup of joe. The café serves a full line of coffee beverages along with hot chocolate and selected desserts. After getting their drinks, guests age seven and up can purchase time by the hour to go hang with the adoptable felines in house and get a good snuggle and relaxation fix.
