2. Walk Through History and Fashion at the Oakland's Wedding Dresses Through the Decades Exhibit Until Mar. 1, 2020
100 years of history and fashion come to life in this limited time-only exhibit, Oaklands Mansion's "Wedding Dresses Through the Decades"! Each of the 50+ dresses on display features the story of the wedded couple, a picture of the bride in her dress and shows that each love story is different and rare. This year they also have wedding ring quilts on display, a homemade traditional gift for newlyweds. The exhibit will be open daily, Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sundays 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Admission to the exhibit is $10.00 per person and is open to the public. Mansion tours are available at regular rates during regular museum hours and combination tickets for the exhibition and house tours are available at a reduced rate.
3. Catch a Concert and Feelings
Why not catch a concert for a special date? Music can positively effect the mood of your evening, and luckily Rutherford County has a blossoming music artist and venue scene.
Mayday Brewery- Valentines Day Concert with Drew Davidsen is Feb. 14th from 6- 10 p.m. Come out for great tunes by this "Multiple Top 10 Billboard Singles" artist and of course, great beer!
A local favorite, The Cleverlys, will be at Pucketts Murfreesboro on Feb. 14th from 6-9 p.m. for dinner and a show! Take your significant other to a 3 course meal and a one of a kind bluegrass show.
